Rooms with a view!
Almost every room at the Emperor Guesthouse faces on to the central courtyard, adding a real historic start to everyone's day...

Most rooms on the first floor are larger rooms with
private toilet and shower. Most rooms on the second
floor are smaller, with shared toilets and showers at the
end of the corridor. We can provide guests with linen
and towels but you will need to bring (or buy locally)
your own toiletries.

Although our Guesthouse is over 240 years old, the
western toilets and showers are all newly fitted, with a
'green' solar-powered hot water system.

The majority of rooms have hot/cold air conditioning.
Other rooms have a heater for the winter and a fan for
the summer, as some guests prefer.

As our guesthouse is of wooden structure (and some of
the rooms have antique furniture) we ask guests kindly
not to smoke in the rooms. You can find ashtrays/bins in
the courtyard and balcony area.

Below are the prices of our rooms and beds. The prices
are different in low and high season, and also for
long-stays or group bookings.

6 bed dorm room, shared toilet and shower:
30-50rmb per bed per night

Twin room, shared toilet and shower:
120-160rmb per room per night

Double room, shared toilet and shower:
140-180rmb per room per night

Twin or Double room, private toilet and shower:
200-240rmb per room per night.

(We do also have some triple rooms with toilet and shower, and also single rooms with shared toilet and shower, but these may be changed soon.)

Check-in time is 12 noon or later. If you arrive before 12 you can leave your things in our store room until your room is ready. Check out time is before 12 noon. You can leave your things in our store room until you are ready to leave. If you want to use the room/bed after 12 noon you will need to pay a little extra.
