      Lhasa  Tickets  &  Permits

· Trains from Beijing to Lhasa leave every night at 9.30pm. The above train ticket prices are for a lower berth/bed. Normal ticket booking can be done up to 4 days in advance (advance booking may also be possible). There are fewer tickets sold in Xi’An. For the most chance of getting a ticket we advise that you travel direct from Beijing (or take a normal train to Xi’An then fly to Lhasa).  Please note that we cannot 100% guarantee train tickets, due to the China ticket-issuing system.
